Job summary

Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a part-time Community Outreach & Intervention Facilitator to support an NIH-funded study on sleep, stress recovery, social connection, and wellbeing in low-resource communities. The role combines outreach, participant recruitment, screening support, and delivery of a structured group intervention.

You will work with the PI, program manager, and team, helping engage participants, maintain contact, and co-facilitate sessions, with training provided

Qualifications

• Experience in outreach, recruitment, or related community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust.
• Comfort speaking with individuals about research participation and health topics.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow structured research procedures.
• Reliable, organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Availability for evening intervention sessions during active periods.

Responsibilities

• Community Outreach and Recruitment in partnership with community organizations and stakeholders.
• Share study information through events, flyers, social media, and approved strategies.
• Support screening, enrollment, scheduling, reminders, and follow-up with participants.
• Maintain recruitment and participant-tracking records accurately.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and participants.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate structured intervention sessions per curriculum.
