Job summary

Penn State University’s Sciamanna Lab in the Department of Medicine, Hershey, PA, seeks a part-time Research Support staff member to assist with community-based studies.

You will recruit subjects, describe procedures, conduct in-person assessments, manage data, and liaise with the PI and Human Subjects Protection Office. No college degree required; strong communication and organizational skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit subjects and describe study procedures, risks, benefits, and eligibility.
• Conduct in-person data collection assessments and virtual exercise instructions as per protocol.
• Maintain participant database and lab supplies/equipment.
• Serve as liaison with Principal Investigator and Human Subjects Protection Office.
• Coordinate with support departments involved in protocols, study start-up, recruitment and close-out.
