Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is seeking an entry level Community Outreach Specialist for the South Loop area of Chicago to help connect individuals to substance use treatment services. The role involves outreach to community partners, shelters, hospitals, and faith-based groups as well as liaising to access care.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with an ASAP start and location at 2630 S. Wabash Ave., Chicago, IL. Pay is $20.00-$21.00 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience in/with substance use, detox programs, medication-assisted treatment, behavioral healthcare and/or community relations encouraged to apply.

• Develops referral relationships with treatment providers and community organizations to access services offered by Family Guidance Centers.
• Strives to develop and direct prospective referrals while serving as liaison to community partners and shelters.
• Describes programs and eligibility requirements in lay terms to individuals and families seeking access to treatment.
