Job summary

Fedcap, Inc. is seeking an Outreach Specialist to drive engagement under the Career Mobility Action Plan in Washington, DC. You will conduct targeted outreach, reengage participants, and support team members through coordinated communication and tracking in our Fedcap Cares system.

The role emphasizes building trust, cultural humility, and persistent follow-up to reconnect individuals with opportunities and sustain progress toward economic mobility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of outreach or administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience with program services and engagement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for a caseload of 30–100 unengaged participants; initiate daily outreach within 24 hours of missed appointments.
• Conduct reengagement efforts and document activity in the Fedcap Cares system with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support Navigators by coordinating outreach on their caseloads and provide real-time status updates.
• Facilitate ongoing communication to promote the value of work and participation in activities.
