Job summary

The Salvation Army Oak Creek is seeking a coordinator to manage Social Ministries and Outreach Programs, including Pathway of Hope, Food Pantry, and Emergency Services. The role advances program operations, supervises volunteers, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include grant research and proposals, budget monitoring, and community resource coordination to support clients’ goals and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Relations, Non-profit Program Management or another related field.
• Two years’ experience with program management.
• Public relations and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates Outreach Programs and manages daily operations of Food Pantry and related services.
• Monitors outcomes, goals, policies, and procedures for all Outreach programs.
• Maintains knowledge of community resources and participates in community meetings.
• Oversees volunteers and provides training as Safe from Harm trainer.
• Develops and writes grant proposals; manages grant budgets/expenses.
