Job summary

The Salvation Army Oak Creek seeks a dedicated program coordinator to lead social ministries including Pathway of Hope, Community Outreach, Food Pantry, and Emergency Services. You will supervise volunteers, manage budgets, and support grant writing to secure funding.

Responsibilities include coordinating community resources, developing referral networks, and representing the organization at events to enhance services for clients and families in the Oak Creek area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Relations, Non-Profit Program Management or related field.
• Two years’ experience in program management.
• Experience in public relations, communications, nonprofit work and supervising personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee outreach programs, including Food Pantry and senior services.
• Lead and supervise volunteers; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develop outcomes, goals, and budgets; monitor grant writing and reporting.
• Engage with community partners and donors; represent The Salvation Army at events.
• Provide referrals and case management to meet client needs; support program goals.
