Applicants should have strong reading and verbal skills, plus the ability to perform basic math and data gathering for reports. A high school diploma is acceptable if combined with relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, comprehend and apply written directions.
  • A high degree of verbal skill is required.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations including percentages and averages.

Responsibilities

  • Represent a statewide community relations program and support outreach efforts.
  • Coordinate workshops and information sessions of program activities.
  • Conduct research and gather information.
  • Respond to information requests from state offices, districts, schools, communities and the public.
  • Liaise with state, district and school personnel and community representatives to facilitate events.
  • Maintain records and compile data for reports on program activities and status updates.
  • May participate as a State program team member.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
