Job summary

Child & Family Service (CFS) in Hawaii seeks an Outreach Worker to support children, youth, and families in the community. The role provides outreach, information and referrals, transportation assistance, skill building, role modeling, and childcare support to help participants achieve their goals and access needed resources.

This position is 10 hours a week. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, with basic reading and writing skills, and experience in child and infant care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months or less experience in related field.
• Child and infant care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, information and referrals to children, youth and families.
• Provide transportation assistance and childcare support to help participants achieve goals.
• Role modeling and skill building to empower families and individuals.
