Job summary

Independent Living Systems, LLC (ILS) seeks a Manager, Community Outreach in Miami to lead outreach initiatives that engage diverse communities across the United States. You will develop, implement, and oversee programs that strengthen partnerships with stakeholders and maximize impact.

You will guide a team to design events, campaigns, and collaborative efforts, ensuring cultural sensitivity and measurable outcomes while aligning with ILS mission and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in community outreach or similar roles.
• Proven ability to develop and manage community programs and partnerships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with public speaking experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and coordinating multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive community outreach strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and government agencies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team responsible for outreach events, workshops, and informational sessions.
• Monitor and evaluate outreach programs with data and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate outcomes to senior leadership and partners.
