Job summary

Independent Living Systems (ILS) seeks a Manager, Community Outreach to lead outreach initiatives across the United States. You will design and oversee programs that engage diverse communities, partners, and stakeholders, driving awareness and participation in guidance and services.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in community outreach, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage teams and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in community outreach, public engagement, or a similar role.
• Proven ability to develop and manage community programs and partnerships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in public speaking and presentation.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Hold an active Florida 2-15 (Health, Life & Annuities) or 2-40 (Health Only) insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute outreach strategies aligned with objectives.
• Build relationships with community leaders, organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration.
• Lead and mentor a team for outreach events, workshops, and informational sessions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve outreach programs with data and feedback.
• Prepare reports to communicate outreach outcomes and insights to leadership and external partners.
