Louisiana Behavioral Health, a partnership between Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Oceans Healthcare, seeks a Community Liaison to develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, increasing utilization of hospital services. The CL will perform mobile assessments and engage rural areas to educate facilities and the community.

The role emphasizes planning education strategies, coordinating monthly reports, and promoting clinic services to support Adult and Gerpsychiatry Unit programs

Qualifications

• Builds relationships with community professionals to generate referrals to Adult and/or Geriatric Psychiatry Unit Program.
• Performs mobile assessments.
• Initiates strategies to generate referrals and educates health care facilities and members in the community.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with community professionals to generate referrals to Adult and/or Geriatric Psychiatry Unit Program.
• Performs mobile assessments.
• Makes 1:1 contact with community professionals.
• Initiates strategies to generate referrals and educate health care facilities and members in the community and rural areas.
• Promotes specialty clinics in the community to highlight the unit's programs and services.
• Assists in planning and implementing education strategies and in maintaining monthly department reports.
• Analyzes marketing data to develop strategies.
• Reports to team members information affecting community education efforts.
