Placements24 is supporting a client in Upington, Northern Cape, recruiting a Community Outreach Coordinator. This role blends fieldwork with remote coordination to expand reach, build partnerships, and promote services within communities.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in outreach or PR, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to travel locally. Hybrid work and ongoing development opportunities are offered to harness community impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in community outreach, PR or event management.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and travel locally when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community outreach plans and strategies.
• Organize and manage events, workshops, and information sessions.
• Build relationships with community leaders, local organizations and stakeholders.
• Promote services and programs within the community.
• Identify community needs and provide feedback for program development.
• Represent the organization at meetings and public forums.
• Develop outreach materials and collateral.
• Manage outreach budgets and resources efficiently.
• Track and report outreach activities and impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate service delivery.
