Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Support Coordinator to join our client in Upington, Northern Cape. This hybrid role bridges the organization with the local population, coordinating outreach programs, handling client intake, and ensuring clear communications with stakeholders.

You will build relationships with community groups and government agencies, organize events, maintain records, and support volunteers.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in program coordination or social services.
• Strong understanding of community needs and resources in the Northern Cape.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of community and social care programs in Upington.
• Manage intake and assessment process for new clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and government agencies.
• Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
• Provide information and referrals to clients regarding available services.
• Maintain accurate client records and program documentation.
