Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Market Outreach Specialist to drive community engagement across NYC, Westchester, and Long Island. You will represent the program to customers and contractors, coordinate events, and track outcomes to maximize impact on energy-efficiency initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and travel within the Downstate NY area, with a focus on accessibility for diverse communities. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is asset.
• Knowledge of Weatherization, HVAC or Building Construction preferred.
• BPI, OSHA & EPA Lead certifications preferred, yet not required; or the ability to obtain/pass skills test once hired, all training will be provided & certifications funded for the right candidate.
• Ability to explain programmatic information clearly.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization, record-keeping, and time management skills.
• DOT requirements may apply depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Act as local on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; encourage participation in the program.
• Document customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements.
• Recruit new Participating Contractors to join the program.
• Coordinate translation services for outreach targeting non-native-English-speaking groups.
• Lead regular meetings with customers, contractors, and organizations to promote program goals.
• Provide feedback via reporting on interactions with customers and contractors.
• Attend contractor events and bi-monthly webinars for Participating Contractors.
