Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking an Education and Outreach Specialist to join our One Community team in the Eastern Region of the Trillium service area. This community-based role requires outreach and education across eastern North Carolina, with events that may occur evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will travel to multiple counties weekly, building relationships with community referrals and providers while supporting health literacy and access to care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Maintain valid NC driver's license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.

Responsibilities

• Support the team by attending community events, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Serve as a bridge between community members and providers through outreach and education across eastern NC.
• Travel to multiple counties weekly to cover the listed regions and counties.
