Job summary

Rock County seeks an Outreach and Marketing Coordinator for ADRC to educate the community about aging services. The role focuses on planning and executing outreach, coordinating events, and creating informative materials for diverse populations.

You will present to community groups, manage social media, and collaborate with the Aging Supervisor on a monthly newsletter. The position emphasizes collaboration with county service providers, staff education, and community engagement to increase ADRC

Qualifications

• Two years post high school education or equivalent experience.
• Experience with frail elderly, physically disabled, or developmentally disabled individuals.
• Experience giving presentations in small or large group settings.
• Experience in developing marketing materials.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a personal insured vehicle.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule to accommodate appointments outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement with the ADRC Division Manager a marketing/outreach plan to ensure Rock County service providers and citizens are aware of the ADRC.
• Organize public events to educate the community of ADRC services.
• Identify potential marketing strategies for the ADRC including advertising and hosting programs/events to promote ADRC programs.
• Create and provide presentations for the general public and community organizations.
• Identify organizations/service providers unfamiliar with ADRC and outreach to educate them.
• Represent ADRC of Rock County to the community through professional interaction, public speaking, media presentations and events.
• Update social media accounts regarding ADRC programs and services.
• Update ADRC website and HSD monitors.
• Organize, create and distribute the monthly newsletter with Aging Supervisor.
• Provide presentations to Rock County Advisory Committee and Governing Boards.
