Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Networks in Round Rock, TX seeks a Community Relations Coordinator to drive census growth by coordinating referrals, tours, and admissions. You will ensure information is collected and communicated to the right staff and convert inquiries into admissions.

The role requires a year of long-term care experience, strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Qualifications

• Preferably one-year experience in a long-term care setting with census development.
• Excellent verbal and written skills required; public speaking skills may be necessary.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Obtain family commitment to tours and referrals.
• Conduct professional tours with clinical and financial staff to gain admissions.
• Explain admission policies and complete paperwork upon admission.
• Coordinate admission approvals for referrals.
• Meet census targets through referrals and admissions follow-up.
• Attend daily department meetings to update on referrals and admissions.
• Implement a ninety-day marketing plan for occupancy and quality targets.
• Identify barriers and communicate to leadership.
• Conduct sales calls to designated referral sources.
• Document inquiries using the inquiry follow-up log.
• Participate in committees as requested by Executive Director.
