Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, directs and participates in community outreach programs, encouraging associates and managers to serve as good members of the community.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with key community groups and external organizations.
• Champions company-sponsored programs, events and sustainability efforts to associates, customers and the local community.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, analyzes reports and monitors asset protection and safety controls.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including training, mentoring and evaluating performance.
• Models exceptional customer service and drives store initiatives to resolve customer needs and issues.
• Assists store manager in driving financial performance, reviewing PL statements and controlling expenses.
• Coordinates activities with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and communicates goals clearly.
