Job summary

Penn Community Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage, home equity, and HELOC products. You will build and manage a robust pipeline from inquiry through closing, while actively developing relationships with real estate professionals and community partners to generate sustainable loan volume.

Qualifications

• Two years in a sales-oriented environment with a proven track record of success.
• Experience originating affordable residential loans and serving low-to-moderate income or first-time homebuyer programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and CRA-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage, home equity, and HELOC products per policies.
• Develop and manage a borrower pipeline through from inquiry to closing.
• Grow applications from LMI borrowers and targeted geographies.
• Coordinate with real estate agents and referral sources to generate loan volume.
• Work with processors, underwriters, and closing staff for timely closings.
• Maintain accurate loan activity in Encompass and Salesforce.
