Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking a Driver for Non-Medical Transportation to pick up and transport clients to program activities. You will ensure safety, complete daily documentation, and maintain vehicle readiness in a community-focused team.

Qualified candidates will have a DOT physical, an Ohio driver license, and a high school diploma with at least six months of commercial driving experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT physical.
• Must have valid Ohio driver license with clean driving record.
• Requires minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of driving a commercial vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up clients from Adult Living Facilities or other locations and transport to programming using a company vehicle.
• Safely transport clients back to the agreed location after daily programming.
• Ensure client safety at all times during transportation and use safety equipment properly.
• Routinely perform vehicle safety checks and maintain maintenance schedule.
• Complete transportation documentation, billing sheets, and program records.
• Attend weekly meetings for additional training and interact professionally with clients and the community.
