PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking a Driver for Non-Medical Transportation to safely transport clients from Adult Living Facilities and other locations to daily programming.

The role requires maintaining safety for clients during transport and ensuring vehicle readiness and documentation throughout the day. The position follows a SPLIT SHIFT schedule with morning and afternoon routes, Monday through Friday, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Must pass the DOT physical.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Valid Ohio Driver License with less than 6 points and provide BMV driver’s abstract.
• Must pass drug screen and meet insurance carrier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up clients from Adult Living Facilities or other locations using a company vehicle.
• Transport clients to and from program locations and ensure safety at all times.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and maintain maintenance schedule.

Our team works together living our core values to create these opportunities.The Driver for Non-Medical Transportation is responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of programing. The driver will be responsible for picking up clients from Adult Living Facilities, residential homes or other agreed upon location and transporting them safely to Programing. Driver shall also be responsible for safe transportation back to the agreed upon location on a daily basis. The Driver is responsible for transportation documentation, cleanliness and scheduled maintenance on company vehicles and insuring that the vehicle functions, including but not limited to, safety equipment are in good working order.ScheduleA SPLIT SHIFT schedule means that you will drive a route in the morning, break for 4-5 hours, then return to drive a route in the afternoon.Monday - Friday - Paid Time Off for holidays & Discounted Health Benefits availablePOSITION’S ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSafely pick up clients from Adult Living Facility, or other agreed upon location, using a company VehicleSafely take clients to Adult Living Facility, or other agreed upon location, upon completion of daily program using the company vehicle.Insure safety of clients at all times during transportation on and off the van (i.e. using a safety step)Routinely check functions of van and maintain proper maintenance schedule for the vehicleInsure all safety equipment is in good working orderResponsible for client supervision/supportResponsible for documentation, including but not limited to, Vehicle Safety Checks, billing sheets and other program documentation.Attend weekly technician meeting for additional trainingInteract appropriately and professionally with clients and the community.Must successfully pass the DOT physical.Must have minimum High School degree or equivalent there of.
