Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with major in law, criminal justice, behavioral sciences, social welfare or related subject, plus three years of public contact experience.
• Criminal investigations experience may substitute for up to two years.
• Background check required for employment in a law enforcement agency.

Responsibilities

• Manage mediation programs, community outreach, administrative hearings and appellate hearings within the Mediation Unit.
• Oversee intake, evaluation and disposition of consumer complaints involving landlord-tenant, animal-related, neighborhood and HOA disputes.
• Coordinate and supervise staff, provide training, and liaise with community and law enforcement partners.
