Job summary

Baltimore City Government is seeking a professional Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator to provide mediation services for participants in Children in Need of Assistance (CINA), Termination of Parental Rights (TPR), Delinquency, and Peace Order Cases.

This candidate will be experienced, energetic, and a multitasker, with strong administrative, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as a mediator or facilitator providing ADR services in child welfare.
• Strong computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office; MDEC knowledge preferred.
• Equivalency notes: any combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, evaluates, and improves the ADR Program; ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Recruits new ADR providers and coordinates training, forms design, and information dissemination.
• Assigns, reviews, and evaluates ADR service provider work; supports judiciary and public.
• Prepares and maintains fiscal and statistical records for the ADR Program.
