Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a proactive Marketing and Resident Experience Specialist for Newtown Crossing in Lexington, KY. This role blends marketing initiatives with leasing responsibilities, including tours, move-ins, and room assignments, to drive occupancy and revenue while enhancing resident engagement.

You will execute lease-up strategies using traditional and digital marketing, coordinate events, and collaborate with the service team to maintain curb appeal and community

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, marketing or sales.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret leasing documents.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Student housing industry experience preferred.
• Social media experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue and occupancy through marketing and leasing execution.
• Conduct property tours and manage leads, show rooms and follow-ups.
• Coordinate move-ins, room assignments, and roommate matching when needed.
• Maintain accurate traffic and leasing data in required systems; handle move-in/out paperwork.
• Assist with office tasks including package management and event planning.
• Plan and execute lease-up events, renewals, and resident programs.
• Deliver marketing messages across traditional and digital channels; create social content.
• Audit property websites and listings for accuracy and visuals.
• Prepare and submit reporting to supervisor and support teams.
