Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County (Ohio) is seeking a Marketing & Digital Communications Coordinator. The role serves as the branch-level communications liaison and supports association-wide social media strategy, focusing on cohesive messaging across YMCA locations to promote programs, events, and community engagement.

The position offers an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00 based on education and experience, with benefits including health/dental/vision/life, retirement plan eligibility, PTO, and YMCA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in social media management and website administration.
• Photography and videography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Branch-Level Communication: design and distribute print materials, update in-branch digital signage, manage branch calendars, develop digital ads, align branch promotions with association goals.
• Association-Wide Social Media & Digital Marketing: manage YMCA social channels, create content calendar, develop graphics/videos, analyze data, build relationships with members and prospects.
• Email and Digital Communications: coordinate mass email and SMS communications, manage contact lists and audiences.
• Creative Design & Content Production: use Adobe CC to produce print/digital materials, capture and edit multimedia content.
• Website Oversight: maintain and update YMCA of Central Stark County's website for usability and content accuracy.
• Program and Event Promotion: develop marketing plans for signature events including registration pages and sponsor materials.
