Job summary

Craighead Electric Cooperative’s Marketing Internship offers hands‑on experience in strategic communication and content creation within a member‑owned cooperative. The role supports marketing for both Craighead Electric and Empower Broadband, with a focus on member communications and community engagement.

The chosen student will earn a $500.00 stipend for the 2026 fall semester and must complete 120 internship hours.

Qualifications

• Enrolled undergraduate student in Marketing, Strategic Communication, Mass Communications, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creative materials such as social media graphics, short-form video content, and mailers.
• Support internal and external communications, including member emails and digital messaging.
• Help plan and support community events, school career days, and outreach efforts within the service area.
• Assist with youth and scholarship outreach initiatives and promotional campaigns.
