Job summary

Indian Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to develop and implement IEC’s communications strategy. You will collaborate with leadership to enhance internal and external messaging, manage media materials, and promote IEC products and services.

The role requires strong writing/editing skills, AP style knowledge, and comfort with public speaking. Occasional after-hours work and some outside duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.
• In lieu of degree, related experience accepted; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Write, design, proof, and edit content for media channels including letters, annual reports, brochures, press releases, etc.
• Maintain IEC intranet and social media to ensure consistency with current messages.
• Coordinate Youth Tour and other education programs.
• Prepare and distribute IEC’s internal newsletter.
• Represent IEC at meetings and events and assist with event planning.
