Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. offers paid engineering internships at our Headquarters facility in Springfield, Missouri, for the 2026–2027 school year.
Interns will work with engineers across departments, analyzing data and supporting projects to ensure reliable power delivery. Qualified applicants are enrolled in engineering or related fields and have completed at least two years of bachelor’s coursework.

Paid engineering internships are available at our Headquarters facility in Springfield, Missouri, with opportunities in a variety of engineering departments throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Internships may be available during the fall, spring, and summer based on business needs and student availability. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. Students may also be eligible to receive course credit for their internship. Check with your school’s career center for additional information.
