Job summary

Arlington Properties in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Community Manager to lead daily property operations and drive performance. You will oversee leasing, staff coaching, budgeting, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

You’ll collaborate with the Regional Manager and corporate teams, shape strategies to maximize occupancy, and maintain a high standard of service and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in business or hospitality preferred.
• 2+ years property management experience with team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Experience with property budgets and reporting; proficient with PM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the property including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Hire, train, coach, and mentor onsite team.
• Lead rent collection, budgeting, and reporting with precision.
• Monitor market trends and strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or coursework in business, property management, or hospitality preferred
• At least2 years of experience in property management, includingteam leadership
• Strong working knowledge ofFair Housing laws andlandlord-tenant regulations
• Financial acumen and confidence managing property budgets and reportingExperience usingproperty management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, MRI) preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when necessary
