Job summary

RHP Properties is seeking a Community Manager for Hills Haven in Buchanan, MI. You will oversee daily operations, collections, staff leadership, and maintenance coordination to run a profitable manufactured home community.

The role requires 2-3 years of PM experience, strong customer service, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with MS Office and MRI is preferred; flexible hours including evenings/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of property management experience with proven management skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detailed-oriented and the ability to multitask and problem solve.
• Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook; MRI experience preferred
• Ability to be flexible and work evenings and weekends
• Valid Operator's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deposit daily collection of all monthly rentals, late fees, etc.
• Pursue delinquent rents and perform evictions within state laws and attend court proceedings as required.
• Hire, train, motivate, and manage onsite staff; administer discipline with proper documentation.
• Inspect the community grounds and homes to maintain a presentable appearance.
• Manage maintenance staff and task assignments via Work Order system.
• Process, approve, and forward invoices; maintain petty cash and expense records.
• Maintain employees’ files, timesheets, and records for accurate compensation and benefits.
• Analyze and audit daily, weekly, and monthly reports; address issues or inaccuracies.
• Coordinate refurbishing of community-owned homes and safety measures.
• Build relationships with residents and respond to all needs.
