KETTLER is seeking a Community Manager for The Jordan Apartments in McLean, VA. The role oversees property operations, leasing, and staff supervision to deliver excellent resident service.

Responsibilities include budgetary oversight, marketing support, and ensuring a quality living environment. Requires leadership, strong communication, and knowledge of property management practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership and leasing success.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Experience with property management software.
• Able to walk apartments/grounds incl. stairs.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L skills.
• Familiar with Landlord Tenant Laws and Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations and leasing office.
• Monitor financial operations and NOI performance.
• Foster a high-quality living environment and team culture.
• Hire and supervise on-site staff, including maintenance.
• Ensure maintenance to company standards.
• Ensure timely rent collection and delinquency procedures.
• Contribute to leasing goals and resident retention.
• Support marketing to promote the property.
• Understand the sub-market and mentor others.
• Lead by example to maintain a customer-focused team.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction and property goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
