Preferred Apartment Communities is seeking a Property Manager to lead staff, manage leasing activity, and oversee on-site operations. You will drive budgeted goals, coach teams, and ensure high levels of resident satisfaction across the property.

Responsibilities include staff planning, marketing collaboration, and expense controls, with a focus on maintaining property standards and a positive resident experience. Local market knowledge and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in property management.
• Multi-family property management experience preferred.
• Local market experience with proven history in customer service, negotiation, and property marketing/advertising preferred.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Motivates and empowers staff to achieve property goals.
• Plans and conducts weekly staff meetings.
• Manages leasing activity to meet budgeted goals and daily/weekly targets.
• Provides coaching and feedback to staff and ensures consistent policies.
• Handles elevated resident issues to improve satisfaction.
• Oversees local marketing strategy and collaborates with the corporate Marketing team.
• Manages income and expenses to achieve budget; approves expenditures.
