Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Community Manager II to oversee day-to-day operations of a property, including financial, administrative, sales, marketing and maintenance activities, while upholding company standards and delivering excellent customer service. You will lead staff, coordinate property budgeting, marketing and leasing strategies, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Travel up to 20% is expected; a state leasing license is required where applicable, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property management experience.
• State leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s).
• Advanced MS Office and computer technology skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior leadership experience required.
• High School or GED required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects the property to ensure standards and compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Develops and implements marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Maintains resident retention by addressing service issues and communicating promptly.
• Oversees repairs/maintenance requests and oversees preventive maintenance programs.
• Partners with Regional Manager to prepare operating budgets and monitor financial systems and vendor payments.
• Reviews monthly income/expense reports and manages accounts receivable per policy.
• Hires, trains, and mentors property staff with evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
