Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead all daily operations of a Birmingham apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and team supervision. You will hire and coach onsite staff, drive rent collection and budgeting, monitor market trends to maximize occupancy and revenue, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred in business, property mgmt, or hospitality.
  • At least 2 years of property management experience with leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and reporting.
  • Experience with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Oversee all daily operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and team supervision.
  • Hire, train, coach, and mentor onsite staff.
  • Lead rent collection, budget management, and reporting with precision.

  • Foster resident satisfaction and retention through proactive service.
  • Actively collaborate with the Regional Manager and corporate support teams.
