Job summary

Greystar in Sacramento is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a Lease-Up, Mid-Rise community. You’ll lead a team, manage budgets, and drive occupancy and revenue goals while ensuring compliance with housing laws.

Responsibilities include leasing, inspections, vendor management, and resident relations. Requires 4–6 years of property management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned property and manage the team.
• Set rent rates, collect fees, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Approve invoices, ensure insurance certificates, and manage vendor communications.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty cash.
• Lead leasing processes, inspections, notices, evictions, and renewals.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing/leasing strategies to hit occupancy targets.
• Promote resident satisfaction and coordinate maintenance with on-site staff.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure safety and appearance standards.
• Supervise staff, hire, orient, and evaluate performance.
• Maintain owner relationships with reports and updates.
