Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Community Manager for Millberry Apartments in St. Paul, MN. You will oversee daily operations, drive occupancy and retention, and lead on-site staff across maintenance, leasing and admin functions.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with housing programs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree (4-year preferred) in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English); second language a plus.
• Reliable with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to think independently, coach and manage others.

Responsibilities

• Maximize occupancy, collections, appearance, resident retention and compliance.
• Maintain visibility and rapport with residents; oversee day-to-day operations.
• Lead staff through orientation, training, performance reviews and HR coordination.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing procedures and adherence to policies.
• Manage move-ins/-outs, rent collection and maintenance coordination.
• Ensure compliance with housing programs and audit readiness.
