IEC Property Services Corporation in Union City, California, is seeking an energetic Community Manager to oversee a 60-unit apartment community. You will market, lease, and manage daily operations, supervise staff and vendors, and ensure goals and budgets are met with exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of multi-family property management experience.
• Working knowledge of property management, California, and local laws.
• Proficient with Yardi Voyager and RealPage; strong MS Office skills preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing rules.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease available apartments using honed leasing skills in compliance with fair housing laws.
• Pre-lease units and maintain a working waitlist of prospective residents.
• Provide high level customer service and connect with residents.
• Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using Yardi software.
• Market units daily on Craigslist and approved sites.
• Screen and qualify prospective residents.
• Prepare vacant units for rental, including renovation oversight.
• Enter traffic, applications, leases, and work orders into Yardi Voyager daily.
• Provide status and strategies to Regional Manager for smooth operations.
• Maintain organized unit files including leases and communications.
• Bid and negotiate service contracts; manage staff and vendors.
• Oversee maintenance and general cleaning; manage budgets and expenditures.
• Respond to resident requests timely and professionally.
