Job summary

Quantum Leap Property Management is seeking a Community Manager to oversee daily operations at one San Antonio community. You will manage leasing, maintenance, and staff performance while upholding company standards and resident satisfaction.

The role demands strong resident relations, effective communication, and leadership abilities to train and guide on-site staff toward operational goals and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of related multi-family property management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience with ResMan software is a plus.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills are essential.
• Team player, professional, effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leasing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company policy
• Analyze performance and trends to develop and implement monthly marketing plan
• Train, motivate and supervise all on-site staff to achieve operation goals
• Conduct employee orientation and training; evaluate performance and timesheets
• Facilitate disciplinary actions and documentation up to termination if necessary
• Provide ongoing training with office staff (leasing paperwork, safety, other procedures)
• Enforce safety policies, regulations and OSHA compliance
• Secure bids for repairs and replacement work beyond staff capability
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high resident service standards
• Adhere to the financial goals of the owner
• Complete month-end and year-end reporting
• Provide narrative of all monthly expense variances +/- 10% per line item
• Ensure property operations comply with regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain a reputable online presence through social media

The Position:

We are looking for a Community Manager to oversee all daily business operations at one of our San Antonio communities. The successful candidate will possess strong resident relations and interpersonal skills and will have the ability to communicate effectively, take charge, lead, train, be dependable, professional, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise leasing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company policy
• Analyze performance and trends to develop and implement monthly marketing plan
• Train, motivate and supervise all on-site staff in order to achieve operation goals
• Conduct employee orientation and training, ongoing formal and informal performance evaluation, review and approve timesheets, instruct and advise on-site staff of employee procedures and guidelines
• Facilitates disciplinary action and documentation up to and including termination of employment if necessary
• Conducts on-going training with office staff; e.g., leasing paperwork, workplace safety, and any other type of training that may be needed
• Enforce safety policies, regulations and OSHA compliance
• Secure bids for repairs and replacement work beyond capability of staff
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards for resident service
• Adhere to the financial goals of the owner
• Complete month-end and year-end reporting as required
• Provide narrative of all monthly expense variances +/- 10% per line item
• Ensure that property operations are compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain a reputable online presence through social media that positively reflects the community and its current residents and draws in future residents

Qualifications:

• Three plus years of related multi‑family property management experience
• Bi‑Lingual (Spanish) Preferred
• Experienced with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
• Experience with Resman a plus
• Strong leadership and management skills are essential
• Team player, professional, effective communication skills
