Job summary

Arrowhead Housing in Salem, OR is seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Community Manager to oversee daily operations, leasing, and compliance across HUD/LIHTC programs. You will lead property teams, manage certifications, and ensure outstanding resident service.

The role requires HUD experience, 3+ years in property management, and 2+ years in supervision, with a commitment to integrity and operational excellence. This is an in-person, full-time role.

Qualifications

Location: Salem, OR

Job Type: Full-Time

In Person Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Compensation: $26–$27.50 per hour DOE

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a community in the Salem, OR. This role is responsible for property operations, affordable housing compliance, leasing, resident relations, financial performance, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of affordable housing regulations (HUD), enjoys navigating the certification process, and takes pride in keeping the community operating smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with ResMan, RealPage, OneSite, or similar software preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and prioritize competing responsibilities.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to inspect the property and show apartment homes.
