Job summary

JLL in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Community Manager to curate onsite hospitality and employee experience at the client site. You will serve as the onsite ambassador, coordinate events, manage budgets, and drive cross-functional partnerships to deliver seamless service. Strong communication and organization are essential, with 1–2 years in related roles.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, community management, employee experience, or a customer-facing workplace role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, identify onsite needs proactively, and take ownership of tasks through to resolution.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Strong ability to balance high-touch hospitality with day-to-day operational and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and hospitality anchor, greeting and assisting employees, guests, and vendors while resolving day-to-day workplace needs.
  • Conduct routine walkthroughs to ensure consistent workplace readiness across meeting rooms, collaboration areas, kitchens, and common spaces.
  • Coordinate and execute onsite community programming, employee engagement activations, and event logistics from setup to post-event reset.
  • Submit, track, and follow up on workplace service requests and work orders through ticketing systems, collaborating closely with Facilities and AV/IT teams.
  • Draft and distribute clear, engaging workplace communications regarding events, amenities, building updates, and service interruptions.
  • Manage site-level budgets for supplies, amenities, and small-scale programming while maintaining accurate inventories and site documentation.

What this job involves

The Community Manager curates the daily workplace experience at their assigned Client site, transforming the physical environment into a welcoming, productive, and community-focused space. As the onsite ambassador for the experience team, this role combines hands-on hospitality with operational stewardship, anticipating employee needs, addressing workplace issues proactively, and orchestrating cross-functional partnerships to ensure seamless service delivery.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, workplace services, or facilities-related activities.
  • Prior experience planning, tracking, and executing employee events or community engagement programs.
  • Comfort learning and utilizing specialized workplace technology, ticketing platforms, and visitor management systems.
  • Familiarity with tracking event participation metrics and collecting employee experience feedback.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite platforms in addition to Microsoft Office.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

75,000.00 - 85,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
