Job description

A high-profile, master-planned community in the North Houston region is seeking a dynamic, hospitality-focused Community Manager/General Manager to oversee its premier residential, club, and food & beverage operations. This rapidly expanding development offers a sophisticated, resort-style environment featuring high-end amenities, private club dining, and gate operations. The position provides an exceptional opportunity for a strong operational leader to establish structure, guide a dedicated team, and build a scalable management model as the community scales toward full buildout. Situated in a thriving, scenic area known for its premier outdoor recreation and high quality of life, this role offers an ideal balance of career growth and lifestyle appeal.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive executive leadership across all community association operations, food and beverage, security/gate operations, and lifestyle amenities.
  • Direct and mentor department leaders—including the Assistant Community Manager and Food & Beverage Manager—ensuring high operational standards and service excellence.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budget preparation, expense tracking, and foundation association financials.
  • Collaborate closely with community developers and leadership to establish operational structures, execute long-term strategic plans, and bring new luxury amenities online.
  • Drive high-touch resident engagement, maintaining a high standard of hospitality and service delivery across all community touchpoints.
Position Requirements
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership in large-scale master-planned communities, private country clubs, luxury resorts, or high-end residential operations.
  • Strong expertise in either food & beverage/club management or community association management, with the operational breadth to oversee both functions.
  • Proven experience managing operational budgets, staff performance, and vendor contracts.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a track record of successfully partnering with executive stakeholders or property developers.
  • Relevant industry credentials (e.g., PCAM, CMCA, AMS) are preferred but not required for candidates with extensive private club or hospitality leadership.
Compensation Package Details
  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $135,000 annually (commensurate with experience, with flexibility up to $150,000 for exceptional backgrounds).
  • Annual Manager Incentive Bonus Plan (3% base target).
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
  • Retirement savings plan with company match.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday package.
