Job summary

Continental-Management-LL is seeking a Community Manager to oversee site operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain an attractive community standard. Responsibilities include applications, program compliance (Section 8/LIHTC), accounts processing, marketing, and tenant relations.

A valid driver’s license is required, and a real estate license may be necessary per local codes. The role reports to the Regional Property Manager and emphasizes adherence to fair housing and EEO policies,

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Valid Real Estate license if required by code.
• Proficiency with property management software and basic computer duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community in an attractive manner at all times.
• Process applications and compliance with Section 8 / LIHTC or other programs.
• Handle accounts receivable/payable processing.
• Lead marketing and advertising activities for the community.
• Manage tenant/landlord relations and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare reports for Regional Manager and others as directed.

Job description

The Community Manager is directly responsible for the overall management of the site in accordance with Management's policies and procedures, under the supervision of the Regional Property Manager. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the Property Manager to carry out all duties in full compliance with Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity regulations and EEO policy. Some of the physical demands include lifting up to 15 pounds, having a valid drivers license, being able to walk up and down steps and able to use a computer. All Community Managers must hold a valid real estate license, if required by code.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Personnel Administration.Maintain the community in an attractive manner at all times.Application processing and Section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program compliance, or any other applicable site programs.Accounts receivable/payable processing.Marketing/advertising activities.Tenant/landlord relations.Special projects and tasks as assigned by the Regional Manager (or E.V.P).Prepare the Monday Report and other reports as directed.EOEQualifications:Previous experience in property management or other related fieldsAbility to build rapport with tenantsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have a valid Driver's License at all times.
