Job summary

JES Holdings, including its Fairway Management division, is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain curb appeal and support make-ready readiness across our apartment communities.

You will clean hallways, public areas, restrooms, and assist in turning units for new residents, reporting to the property manager and upholding safety and resident relations.

We require a high school diploma and 1–2 years of housekeeping experience; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of housekeeping or cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, community rooms, and other public areas.
• Dust furniture, baseboards, light fixtures, blinds, ceiling fans and any other object that may collect dust in hallways, community rooms, and other public areas.
• Clean all components of public restrooms, including, but not limited to, floors, sinks, toilets and mirrors.
• Collect garbage from public trash receptacles.
• Polish hardwood and metal surfaces in all public areas.
• Clean windows in public areas.
• Assist in turning units by conducting a deep clean of the apartment unit in preparation for a new resident moving in. This deep clean is vital
• Report directly to property manager and handles any delegated tasks.
• Be alert to any emergencies, health and safety concerns and notify appropriate staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with residents, vendors, and other staff members.
