Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Punta Gorda, FL to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across the community. You will support building systems, amenities, and safety while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

The role requires basic trade knowledge, the ability to operate hand and power tools, and strong problem-solving. Occupational safety and after-hours work may be required, with a focus on maintaining clean, safe common areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year general maintenance experience preferred, HOA/property env.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and drywall repair.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to common areas, buildings, amenities, and equipment.
• Conduct regular property inspections for safety hazards and code compliance.
• Complete work orders timely, efficiently and professionally.
• Perform preventative maintenance on lighting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, walkways, parking areas, and recreational facilities.
• Assist with pool inspections and report safety concerns.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and after-hours calls.
• Operate and maintain maintenance tools safely.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and management on requests and updates.
• Document completed work and report findings to management.
• Follow OSHA standards and company policies.
