Job summary

RHP Properties seeks a Maintenance Technician for Wellington Estates Community near Asheville, NC. This role handles general grounds and lawn maintenance, and basic repairs to homes owned by the community, for 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining community grounds, and coordinating with the Community Manager to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming environments for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic home systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurability.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute work orders and report status to Community Manager.
• Maintain community grounds and perform lawn care and outdoor upkeep.
• Handle residents and guests politely and professionally.
• Assist with refurbishing community-owned homes and manage basic repairs.
