First United Bank is seeking a Community Loan Assistant I to provide exceptional service to bank customers by assisting with consumer and real estate loans. You will support loan officers, prepare and review loan documentation, and help maintain accurate loan files while delivering reliable, friendly service.

The role requires basic math, strong computer skills, and excellent communication to handle customer inquiries and complete loan processing tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; banking experience preferred.
• Two to three years of prior loan assistant experience preferred.
• Proficient computer and basic mathematical skills required.
• Provides exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Ability to handle loan processing tasks and documentation efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Explain, promote, and sell bank products/services based on customer needs.
• Support loan officers with closing, booking loans, and documentation.
• Assist customers with loan and credit applications and update loan data.
• Prepare and mail past due letters and collect documents as needed.
• Maintain accurate loan files with signatures and dates.
