Job summary

The role emphasizes direct support, documentation, and collaboration with family and interdisciplinary teams to meet member needs and maintain compliance with program regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• One year of experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Successful completion of training to dispense medications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional direct support and supervision per the member's Plan of Care.
• Assist with personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation, and clothing care.
• Support social skills, transportation, communication, and recreation.
• Administer prescribed medications and/or first aid as needed.
• Complete documentation and required reports in electronic systems.
