Job summary

CAMS in Waxhaw, NC seeks a full-time Lifestyle Director to lead and manage resident life programs, events, and activities. The role requires collaboration with management, the board, developers, and residents, with duties that span planning, execution, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years in lifestyle program management, experience with 55+ programming a plus, and strong communication and leadership abilities. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Lifestyle Director or related event industry experience.
• Experience creating flyers, newsletters, or marketing materials.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote and execute a full range of events, activities, classes, sports, and healthy-living programs.
• Implement a comprehensive communications plan for residents.
• Build partnerships and sponsorships with local businesses and organizations.
• Recruit and organize volunteers; oversee facilities and budgets.
• Maintain community website and develop a residents' newsletter.
