Baltimore County Public Library is seeking staff to provide exceptional customer service, help customers find information, and support programs at 19 branches. Responsibilities include shelving, processing returns, and assisting with reservations and digital resources.

Position involves working a rotating Sunday schedule, with evenings and Saturdays as needed; includes program support and branch operations tasks within a supportive library system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use computers and various software to perform duties.
• Must meet federal/state requirements to act as passport application agent for locations offering passport services.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with diverse library needs and information.
• Shelving, merchandising, and processing returned materials.
• Assist with reserves, programs, and outreach events.
• Support branch daily operations including opening/closing procedures.
