Job summary

Pathways Learning Academy in Washington, DC seeks a School Relations Coordinator to support the Child Care Center’s daily operations. You will handle clerical tasks, assist with classroom activities, and serve as the liaison to Church Administrative Teams while building strong community relationships.

You will greet families, manage calls and data entry, promote the center’s image, and help ensure safety and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher is required.
• Previous supervisor work experience in a childcare environment is required.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrates an understanding of all current state and local regulations.
• Must be able to communicate in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with church leaders and families; assist with tours.
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls, data entry, filing, and accounts receivable collection.
• Daily cleaning duties; assist in classrooms as needed.
• Promote the center’s image and support community relationships.
• Ensure safety by following state laws regarding child abuse or neglect.
